Your best course of action (and your only effective one) is to recognize that your point of power begins with you. We may not be able the dictate the circumstances that we encounter (Effect) but we can always choose how to respond to these events (Cause). People who operate with a dictator mentality are unhappy people who’s internal experience is of powerlessness and poor self-worth. While they may be unwilling to work on increasing their personal energies, you certainly can work on yours. In doing so, you increase the overall energy climate of the organization. Use this situation as an opportunity to increase in personal power. Begin by allowing others the SPace to be as they are. By not resisting the situation, you do not add more negative energy to an already negatively charged situation. Begin to think, not necessarily in terms of good and bad, but in terms of negative and positive. Recall that everything has Consequences. Observe the consequences of those who operate in negative energy. What are the positive results? What are the negative results? Consider your consequences should you choose to also respond in negative energy. As you make the decision to grow in personal power, you become an agent and an example of positive change for those around you. Like Energy Attracts Like Energy. Your continued positive energy will begin to diffuse a negative climate. Once this process begins, others will follow your leads.
