Why Is It Important for Managers to Become Intrapreneurs?
Not only is it important that managers become intrapreneurs, companies would do well to establish a work climate that allows all employees to become intrapreneurs. For all of us life works according to a formula, a Causal Sequence of
BE → FEEL → THINK → DO → HAVE
Most business strategies operate in reverse of the Causal Sequence. Businesses focus on the ‘have’, which in most cases is a negative result such as tardiness, poor service, low productivity, etc. Businesses attempt to devise solutions to alleviate the negative result, working the sequence backwards. For instance, if a business is faced with high absenteeism often the strategy hinges on establishing punishment and restrictions instead of seeking the root cause of this result. Leaders that are suppressive could very well be contributing to the situation. Identifying and changing the negative human energy of the leadership, creates a positive change in the “BE” of the causal sequence, which will create a different result.
Current business models today fail to produce positive results because they fail to understand the pervasive, underlying motivation of every human being– the need to experience greater levels of positive Life force, Life Energy or Quantum Human Energy as it is called in the book.
